Submissions being accepted for Teen Art Show

SEBASTIAN — Teens are invited to submit their artwork and show off their talent at the North Indian River County Library.  All work must be a current, original interpretation by the artist and reflect this year’s theme of “Destinations.”

Teens may choose their artistic medium – pencil, ink, chalk, computer generated, or any other format – but size is limited to 8.5 x 11 inches. All artists, ages 12 through 18, are invited to submit entries and all entries will be displayed in the library.

Entries for the Teen Art Show will be accepted from June 1 through July 8.  Artwork must have been created after January, 2011.

A grand prize and a runner up prize will be awarded in two age categories; 12 to 14 years, and 15 to 18 years. Prizes are being provided by the Friends of the North Indian River County Library.

The North Indian River County Library is located at 1001 Sebastian Blvd., three miles west of U.S. 1 in Sebastian.
