Maxine Grondahl, 76, died April 26, 2011, at Kindred Hospital in Riviera Beach.
She was born in Gatzke, Minn., and lived in Vero Lake Estates in Sebastian for 16 years, coming from Palm City, where she lived for 21 years. Before retirement, she was a bank executive.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Naples.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Kenneth E. Grondahl, of Sebastian; daughter, Lisa Moore, of Palm City; brother, Ray McMillin, of Gatske; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Grondahl; brother, Donald McMillin; and sister, Faye A. Brandt.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. April 28 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes-Palm City Chapel.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. April 29 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Palm City.
