Indian River Mall to host job fair April 28

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – On Thursday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Indian River Mall, Workforce Solutions in partnership with the Indian River Chamber of Commerce and the Indian River Mall will hold a job fair.

“We’re excited to once again partner with the Indian River Chamber of Commerce and their members to present this job fair at the Indian River Mall,” said Vice President/COO of Workforce Solutions Glenda Matesic.

Some of the companies committed to participate so far include, Areas USA, CVS Distribution Centers, CDC News, Hibiscus Children’s Center, INEOS New Planet Bioenergy and Lighthouse Home Health Care, Inc.

Job seekers interested in attending the free event are urged to dress professionally, bring copies of their updated resume or visit one of Workforce Solutions access points prior to the event for resume preparation assistance, and allow themselves plenty of time to visit with each participating company.

“We are committed to helping Workforce Solutions find employers who can be at direct contact with those seeking jobs,” President of the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Penny Chandler said.  “We are prepared to have another successful event.”

Employers interested in being a part of this job fair should have at least one available position and can vary in skill-level and industry.

Access to job seeker resources such as computers and internet service is available at the Workforce Solutions’ mobile unit located near the County Administration building on the corner of 18th Ave and 25th Street on Monday through Thursday and at Riverview Park in Sebastian the first three Fridays of the month.
