United Way Loyal Contributors honored

VERO BEACH – More than 130 long-time United Way supporters were honored at the Quail Valley River Club as part of the Second Annual United Way Loyal Contributors Appreciation Event.  The evening was sponsored by Nelson Morgan Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch and Florida Floor Fashions. “We are so thrilled to have the chance to honor your years of dedication,” said Michael Kint United Way CEO.  “The support each one of you have brought to the work of making this community a better place is a true gift.”

A national recognition program established by United Way Worldwide in 2009 and adopted by many local United Ways across the country, the Loyal Contributors program recognizes those who have been giving to ANY United Way for 10 or more years.

Donors are asked to self-identify by providing the year they began giving to United Way (anywhere in the country).  Since launching the program last fiscal year, more than 500 donors

United Way recognizes Loyal Contributors at its major events and in its annual report that will published shortly at www.unitedwayirc.org.  Loyal Contributors can also opt to receive a quarterly newsletter and other information on how their donations are at work helping people here in Indian River County.

Donors are invited to self-identify as a Loyal Contributor by filling out a form available at www.unitedwayirc.org and sending it back to the local United Way. {igallery 373}
