Donald B. “Barry” Myers, 75, died March 29, 2011, at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
He was born in Bridgeport, N.J., and lived in Sebastian for 17 years, coming from Gibbstown, N.J.
He was an Air Force veteran.
He was employed as a unit operator in the Chemical Division of DuPont Industries for 33 years in Gibbstown, N.J.
He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Elks Lodge 2714 and the Harmony Gun Club in Gibbstown.
Survivors include his son, Richard J. Myers and daughter, KellyAnn Long, both of Gibbstown; brother, Robert W. Smith, of Arcadia, Calif.; sister, Marilyn M. Waldis, of Sebastian; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Myers; and a brother, William Myers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. April 4 at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian with a service conducted by the Elks Lodge 2714.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. April 5 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian.
Entombment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
