Pacifica Reyes Lucero, 84, Vero Beach

Pacifica Reyes Lucero, 84, died March 11, 2011, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute, Fort Pierce.

She was born in Los Banos, Philippines, and lived in Florida for 11 years.

She received her bachelor’s degree in education in Manila. Before retiring, she worked for the Philippines Bureau of Lands.

She was a member of The Fellowship at Central Florida in Kissimmee, a nondenominational Christian church.

Survivors include her husband, Teodoro; daughters, Elizabeth Maralit, Virginia Sace and Jacqueline Abola, all of the Philippines, and Jennifer Tecson, of Orlando; sons, Alex Lucero, of Vero Beach, Ted Lucero Jr., of Orlando and Jerry Lucero, of Antioch, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A life celebration service will be at 11 a.m. March 13 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with visitation until 8 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. March 14 at the funeral home after graveside services at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
