ARC cancels annual Arc-a-palooza, plans Spring Swing golf tourney

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The Abilities Resource Council has canceled its sixth annual Arc-a-palooza event that was to be held in mid-March at Riverside Cafe in Vero Beach.

Citing circumstances beyond their control, organizers said they had to cancel the fund-raiser. While that event has been canceled, plans are still moving forward for their sixth annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament in April.

Organizers encourage participants to gather their foursomes and “be prepared for a fantastic day” filled with golf, food, raffles, and door prizes.

Spring Swing will be held Saturday, April 30, at the Sandridge Golf Course with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. followed by an awards luncheon.

The cost to participate is $85 per person.

“Special thanks to our sponsors Ray and Linda Hengerer of Agua Vida Design Services and Sandridge Golf course for once again being there for us,” organizers said..
