Thomas R. Ormsby, 80, died Feb. 17, 2011, at his winter home in Vero Beach.
He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and lived in the Walworth-Macedon, N.Y. area after being raised in Liverpool, N.Y.
He was a winter resident of Vero Beach for seven years.
Before retirement, he was a supervising electrical engineer for Eastman Kodak.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Indian River Woodcarvers.
He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Tucker; son, Steve Ormsby; brother, Nelson K. Ormsby; fiance, Lynn Foote; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Patricia C. Ormsby.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. March 6 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach with a reception in the Fellowship Hall to follow.
A family memorial service will be the third weekend of May at the Walworth Second Baptist Church, Walworth, N.Y.
