Wednesday, February 2 from noon to 1 p.m.:

Floridians often encounter birds, squirrels, raccoons, opossum or other wildlife.  Ilka Daniel, The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County’s Director of Animal Protective Services, will speak about ways to live harmoniously with native wildlife at a free Living with Urban Wildlife talk. She will also offer valuable tips for humanely deterring wild creatures from setting up their home in your home.

Saturday, February 5 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.:

Sebastian veterinarian and pet cookbook author Amy Cousino will be serving up lots of fun and good advice when she discusses the healthful benefits of cooking for your pet. Cousino will also provide a cooking demonstration and book signing opportunity.

Wednesday, February 9 from noon to 1 p.m.:

A talk entitled Thinking Outside the Box, dealing with feline litter-box problems, will be addressed at Thinking Outside the Box.  Litter-box avoidance is one of the most common issues that cat “parents” address. Such behavior may result from medical issues, stress, a change in environment…or a combination of factors. Vero Beach veterinarian and cat expert Suzanne Gambella will discuss ways to end “out of the box” accidents and encourage “in the box” behavior.
