VERO BEACH — The Indian River Genealogical Society, in cooperation with the Brevard Genealogical Society, the Genealogical Society of South Brevard and the Treasure Coast Genealogical Society, is pleased to announce the 2011 Valentine Genealogy Seminar. The Seminar will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 12 at the Richardson Center of Indian River State College on the Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.
Mark Lowe, a nationally recognized, award winning genealogist and lecturer will present four lectures titled:
٠ Circuit Riders and the Early Methodist Church
٠ Dower, Dowry and Dentinue: Women and their Men’s Property
٠ Over the Mountain, Across the Plains…Using Electronic Records to Trace Our Ancestors
٠ Trails of Daniel Boone and other Western Travelers
The seminar fee is $35 and includes a boxed lunch.
