I started this blog at probably the worst possible time due to the holidays. Well, maybe the best time because of the holidays – worst because of travel.
Let me explain… The day after I started this blog, I had a 30-minute workout scheduled through the exercise program I’m using – The Biggest Loser. That same day, Keith and I were making the trek to Tampa to spend Christmas with my family.
Because the Wii program saves the progress to the machine, I couldn’t exactly take it with me. I could have grabbed the disc (my parents have a Wii system, too) – but it wouldn’t have my settings or data.
And, while I could have packed up our system and hooked it up at my parents’ place – I’m just not that dedicated.
So, I missed a couple days’ worth of workouts going the electronic route – but I suppose I would have missed a couple days if I were of the more traditional workout persuasion.
At least, that’s what I’ll keep telling myself.
At any rate, now that I’m back home – and with no plans to take off again any time in the foreseeable future – I’m going to reintroduce myself to my “trainer.”
