Horace David Arthur Jr., 69, died Dec. 15, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Lynchburg, Va., and lived in Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Reston, Va.
After working for many years in the financial and computer sector, he retired in 1996 from Electronic Data Systems Corp. (EDS) in Reston.
He was a veteran of the Army. He served as an officer on the board of the Cambridge Park Home Owners Association and as secretary of the Association of American Magicians.
Survivors include his brothers, Wayne Arthur, of San Francisco and Allen Arthur, of Lynchburg; and sisters, Maureen Simonis, of Alexandria, Va.; and Doris Brightwell, of Lynchburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services will be at later date in Lynchburg.
