VERO BEACH — The Indian River Genealogical Society is pleased to announce its schedule of winter events. In addition to monthly general meetings, the popular Valentine Seminar and two workshops are planned. The Valentine Seminar is hosted with genealogical societies from St. Lucie and Brevard Counties. March 8 – “Sources for Irish Research” with Donna Moughty
February 12 – “Annual Valentine Seminar” A day of lectures, lunch and sharing featuring noted genealogist and historian Mark Lowe. $30 registration fee includes lunch ($35 after January 15)
March 8 – “Family Health” In an afternoon session, Donna Moughty shares tips on researching ancestors’ health conditions.
March 26 – “Roots Magic” Cindy Hineman explains uses of this popular genealogy software tool.
