VERO BEACH — The annual Dogs for Life (DFL) DFL Donor & Volunteer Appreciation Event, recognizing donors and volunteers who exhibit extraordinary services to the organization, will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11 at the dog park memorial pavilion .   As a non-profit that relies on the donations and services of our Donors and Volunteers and we could not do the vitally important work for our community without your help.

This year the Assistance Dog Team Award will be presented to Jim Taylor & Pia Pia for their service to DFL.  As a veteran of the Afghanistan war, Jim volunteers his time to speak on behalf of the DFL Veteran Dog Program to many audiences. The Media Award will be presented to Carl Miller of DHI Advertising and Marketing.  Carl has donated services since 2000 to DFL by designing logos and fundraising brochures.
