Alice L. Herington, 77, died Dec. 5, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and had been a winter resident of Vero Beach for 10 years.
She was a member of the Sandridge Wednesday 9-hole Ladies League, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Jim DeYoung, of Rockford, Mich.; daughters, Jillayne DeYoung, of Vero Beach, and Janis Arreola, of Wyoming, Mich.; brother, Adrian Bruininks, of Vero Beach; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Herington.
