Amy Lillian Joie, 100, Vero Beach

Amy Lillian Joie, 100, died Nov. 27, 2010, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.

She was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach since 1974, coming from Farmingdale, N.Y.

She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach and had been a seamstress.

Survivors include her daughter, Dotty Meiser, of Vero Beach; son, Clement T. Joie Jr., of Massapequa, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband 62 years, Clement Thomas Joie Sr.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.

A life celebration service will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 30 at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew C. “Jack” Diehl of Our Savior Lutheran Church officiating.
