WABASSO ISLAND – Exploring our Indian River Lagoon and its tributaries by canoe and kayak offers a unique opportunity to enjoy and learn about one of the most diverse environments on earth.
Lagoon canoe trips are scheduled from 3 to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, November 17, from 8 to 10:30 am on Saturday, November 27, and from 1 to 3:30 pm on Sunday, November 28. The cost is $15/adult or $12/member.
A kayak trip to explore the St. Sebastian River is scheduled for 9 am to 12 pm on Friday, November 19. The cost for this trip is $30/adult and $25/child.

These maneuverable and quiet watercraft with shallow draft, allow participants to see nature, close-up, and undisturbed. Experienced guides lead each trip, providing background and historical perspective as well as canoe and kayak instruction, when needed.
