Timothy “Stroker” Shipley, 62, died Oct. 30, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in Detroit and lived in Ft. Pierce for 28 years, coming from his birthplace. Prior to retirement, he was an automobile and motorcycle mechanic.
Survivors include his siblings, Tom Shipley, of Washington, D.C., Bill Shipley, of Grand Blank, Mich., Charlie Shipley and Richard Shipley, both of Livonia, Mich., Francine Wilbanks, of Northville, Mich., and Matthew Shipley, of Brighton, Mich; and children, Sharon, Rebecca and Timothy Jr.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Shipley; and parents, Rex and Francis Shipley.
