VERO BEACH — Plumbago Volunteer Services is offering a Background Checks Training session to help non-profits with volunteer screening on Thursday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Northern Trust Bank in Vero Beach.
The training session is designed to provide the latest information on background screening regulations and requirements and promote and enhanced understanding of new technology and levels of screening, criminal court records, fingerprinting rules and regulations, background screening policies, and safer hiring do’s and don’ts.
Join Plumbago members, managers and others to learn about screening those associated with your organization. Anyone interested or confused about the changes put in place by The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) will want to attend this training.
The cost for the training is $30 for Plumbago Members and $40 for nonmembers. Registration by Friday November 12th is required to ensure adequate materials for all participants.
