Buddy Clinton, 65, died Oct. 25, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Rockport, Texas, and lived in Vero Beach since 1979, coming from Ganado, Texas. He was an Army veteran. Before retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Vero Beach Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Nancy; daughters, Lynette Brooker, of Searcy, Ark., and Carlene Wiley, of Vero Beach; sister, Maxine Pate, of Brookshire, Texas; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jewel Clinton.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 30 at Vero Beach Church of Christ.
