Richard A. Hubbard, 82, Vero Beach

Richard A. Hubbard, 82, died Oct. 20, 2010, at his home.

He was born in Danbury, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for eight years coming from North Hutchinson Island. He established Marcoin Business services in 1963 and worked there until his retirement in 1980.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He was a founding member of the Connecticut Rebels Fife and Drum Corps, Danbury.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mabel Hubbard, of Vero Beach; son, Michael Hubbard, of Bethlehem, Conn.; daughters, Linda Craig and Nancy Gill, both of Vero Beach; sisters, Florence Foley, of New Milford, Conn., and Barbara McDonnell, of Lancaster, Pa.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with the Rev. Hugh King officiating.
