Jake Owen’s Benefit Concert welcomes Little Big Town as special guest

VERO BEACH -RCA Nashville recording artist and Vero Beach, FL, native Jake Owen has headlined four years of consecutive sell-outs for his hometown Jake Owen Concert, always a highlight of the annual benefit, Mardy’s Tennis & Jake’s Music Fest.  This year’s concert, slated for Friday, December 10, is set to be bigger than ever as it moves to the 6500-seat Holman Stadium.  Owen welcomes Platinum-selling Capitol Records Nashville group Little Big Town as his special guest.

The Event also takes on a new dimension with the creation of the Jake Owen Foundation, which joins longtime Event beneficiary the Mardy Fish Foundation as a new vehicle for charitable support geared toward children.

The Mardy Fish Foundation, established by tennis pro Mardy Fish as a way to support youth organizations and programs in the Vero Beach area, will be a key beneficiary of the Jake Owen Foundation, together with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“It’s all about the children,” Owen says of his foundation, “and doing our part to help them be all they can be, from education and development to simply being able to be healthy and have access to the best medical care.  I couldn’t be happier to launch my foundation this year and have amazing friends like Little Big Town on board to make this an incredible show.”

“Seeing as we’re all parents, nothing is more important to us as than our children’s health and happiness,” says Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild.  “Jake is a longtime friend, and we’re really happy to be a part of his charity event,” adds the band’s Phillip Sweet, “and it’s great to be involved in any effort helping children and their fight to be well.”

Prior to the evening concert, the Event weekend kicks-off on Friday, December 10, with a Kids’ Tennis Clinic at Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club, the Official Host Sponsor of the Event.  The Event continues on Saturday, December 11, with a Luncheon that includes a live and silent auction and a Tennis Exhibition featuring Event Host Mardy Fish, who will be joined by current and/or former touring tennis professionals in a singles and doubles match.

Tennis Exhibition tickets are $75 for Box Seats and $35 for General Admission tickets.  Tickets for the Jake Owen Concert with Special Guests are $75 for Premier Seats (on field), $25 for Reserved Seats (stadium bleacher seating) and $15 for General Admission (stadium bleacher seating). There will be limited VIP Pit Tickets available for $50.
