Salvation Army Community Harvest Festival set for Oct. 29

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Each year our youth department at The Salvation Army facilitates a Community Harvest Festival to allow the children in our community to come together for a safe, fun evening of Halloween Activities.

There will be free food, games, bounce houses, cake walks, prize drawings and hay-rides all evening and it concludes with a costume contest. The Festival will be held Friday, Oct. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Salvation Army main building on 2655 5th St SW across the street from the Skate Factory.

Bob Evans Restaurant is providing food for the bake sale.

A huge thank you goes to Mr. Tom Corr at The George E Warren Corp who has generously taken the lead as our Title Sponsor and has provided The Salvation Army the means to have our best Harvest Festival yet.

So get your costume on and come on out to enjoy a fun filled safe evening of food, candy, games and prizes with Family and Friends.

At The Salvation Army we take pride in supporting the youth of our community by providing free activities and events that will live in the memory of our most precious resource “Our Children.”
