VERO BEACH — The Artists Guild Gallery proudly presents “A Splash of Nature,” works by Gallery Member Betty Wade, on view throughout the month of October. An Opening Reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held Friday, October 1 from 5. to 8 p.m.
Betty Wade, a long-time member of the Artists Guild Gallery, is renowned for her beautiful floral watercolors. A nature lover all her life, she uses the brush to capture the myriad of colors seen in a single flower, and has mastered the art of depicting light and shadows in the natural world. Betty also shares her love and talent for painting watercolors in the classroom at the Artists Guild. She is a past president of the Guild, and a member of the Vero Beach Art Club and the Vero Beach Museum of Art. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, and her work resides in many collections around the U.S.
New works by other Gallery Artists and Consignors will also be on display in a vast array of styles and mediums, including sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, pottery, glass and prints.
The Gallery is located at 1974 14th Avenue in Vero Beach. Hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or by special appointment.
