Adam Louis DiGiovanni, 83, Sebastian

Adam Louis DiGiovanni, 83, died Sept. 7, 2010, at VNA Hospice in Vero Beach.

He was born in L’Aguila, Italy, and lived in Sebastian for five years, coming from Port St. Lucie. Before retirement, he worked for the Department of Defense for 30 years in Washington, D.C., and Union, N.J. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, N.J., and a master’s degree from Central Michigan University.

Survivors include his sons, Mark DiGiovanni, of Chantilly, Va., and Michael DiGiovanni ,of Sebastian; daughters, Linda Eagle, of Sebastian, and Gina Delgado, of Purcellville, Va.; brother, Victor DiGiovanni; and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, P.O. Box 1950, Clarksburg, MD 20871-1950.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon Sept. 10, with a service at Noon at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
