Get free pet ID tags from the Humane Society

VERO BEACH — The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County will be offering free pet identification tags, low-cost spay/neuter materials and animal adoption information at two locations on Saturday, September 11:  Walgreen’s, at 5755 20th Street in Vero Beach from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and

The Oceanside Business Association’s Beach Concert Series at Humiston Park on Ocean Drive from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

There is no limit to the number of ID tags that can be requested and the pet tags can be issued without the pets being present.

HSVB & IRC offers pet ID tags as a public service.  Each tag is pre-engraved with a unique identification number issued to that particular animal, says “I am lost” and has the Humane Society’s 24 hr. paging service.

Humane Society employees are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to calls for lost or found animals.

Free pet ID tags are also available Monday through Saturday at the Humane Society, located at 6230 77th St. in Vero Beach.
