Inshore Tournament to benefit United Way

SEBASTIAN — Indian River Medical Center and the United Way of Indian River County will come together for a Charity Inshore Tournament on Saturday, September 18.  There is a mandatory Captains’ Meeting starting promptly at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 17 at Captain Hiram’s Resort.

No checkout start.  Weigh-in scales open from 11 am to 2 pm on Capt. Hiram’s “Bimini Beach.”

Individual Adult Anglers are $30; Junior Anglers fish free.

Species:  Adult angler categories: Trout & Redfish and Junior angler categories: Ladyfish & Jack Crevalle

Payouts:

ALL 1st place winners: $200 ALL 2nd place winners: $100 ALL 3rd place winners: $50 “Heaviest 2-Fish Aggregate Pool” receive an additional $10 per angler 100% payback from pool to the winner.

Junior Anglers Payouts: All 1st place winners: 1st place trophies All 2nd place winners: 2nd place trophies All 3rd place winners: 3rd place trophies

 This is an “individual angler” tournament. FLFA teams will still earn points. Team anglers will earn points for their “heaviest Trout and/or Redfish” between the team members.

This is a charity tournament and all proceeds go to the United Way of Indian River County.
