Mae Bell Fussell, 72, Vero Beach

Mae Bell Fussell, 72, died Aug. 23, 2010 in Vero Beach.

Fussell was born in Douglas, Ga. and moved to Vero Beach in 1977 coming from Ft. Pierce. She enjoyed growing roses and gardening.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Jeff Fussell, of Vero Beach; son, Jerome Fussell, of St. Petersburg, Fla; daughter, Michelle Quintana, of Ft. Pierce; grandchildren, Raymond Czernis, Jr., Katherine Czernis, and Erasto Quintana; one great-grandchild, Chole Czernis; brother, Elbert Smith of Douglas, Ga.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Frank Strahorn was already considered a hero by his family, friends and marine brothers and sisters because of his military service around the world.
