Harvest Food & Outreach Center seeks volunteers

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The Harvest Food & Outreach Center needs your help!  If you are looking for an opportunity to help your community, the Harvest Food & Outreach Center is in need of volunteers for its new Harvest Thrift Center.

Tasks include helping put together furniture, shelving displays, paint, steam clothing and put on hangers, organize and clean.  There is an opportunity for everyone.

Individuals, Church Groups, Social Networks, Clubs and High School Students are all welcome.  The Thrift Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and is located at 2746 US Highway 1 in Vero Beach.  Harvest Food & Outreach Center works directly with thousands of families, individuals and children on the Treasure Coast who are in need. That means there are many different ways in which you can get involved and have a direct impact on the lives of families facing poverty, hunger and crisis.

Call Debbie today at (772) 770-2665 to schedule a day of volunteering and get started!
