Atlantic Classical Orchestra offers new Community Concert

VERO BEACH — The 21st Season of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra includes a new Community Concert.  With a special program and a special price, the concert is a heartfelt “thank you” to the communities that it serves.

The Community Concert in Vero Beach will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, February 25 (location TBA) and is a further extension of a musical theme first introduced during the 2010 Season.  Maestro Robertson and the ACO will be performing a chamber version, for 10 musicians, of Anton Bruckner’s mighty Seventh Symphony.

Bruckner’s music is among the most profoundly beautiful ever written.  A devout and religious man, his Seventh Symphony, like all of his works, features lush harmonies and soaring melodies that that frame music of a deep religious feeling that is otherworldly in its impact.

Originally written for large orchestra, the ACO is performing the challenging and gorgeous chamber version as a special concert presentation for our patrons and community.

And as special “thank you” to both the Vero Beach and Stuart communities for their incredible support over the past twenty years, the ACO has priced the tickets at $25 to encourage attendance by everyone.   There is no reserved seating for the Community Concert.
