Robert S. Hirsch, 81, of Vero Beach, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at VNA Hospice House after a brief illness. He was born March 29,1929 in Sacramento, Calif.
He was a real estate broker and developer in Vero Beach and Newport Beach, Calif., for 40 years. Hirsch served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Hirsch founded the Newport Beach, Calif., Chapter of AA and was an active member of the AA in Vero Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Hirsch; son, Robert Hirsch, of California.; daughter, Louisa Beers of California.; step-son, Dana Pearson of Miami, Fla.; step-daughters, Cory Killorin, of Atlanta, Ga., and Cindy Lewis, of Vero Beach; and four grandchildren.
Services were held at Riverside Memorial Park on Sat. July 31, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Military Honors being conducted by the VFW.
