Eva Kay Huston died July 11, 2010, in Jacksonville.

She lived in Vero Beach and was a processor for a blood bank and also worked for Quest Laboratory and Access Laboratory.

Survivors include her son, Brian Huston; daughter, Bobbie Cloyd; six grandchildren; and her fiance, George Ebert.

VERO BEACH -- The Democratic Women's Club of Indian River County recently announced the winners of its Annual College and Vocational Training Scholarship awards at its membership luncheon. The Scholarship Committee which consists of Susan Sniffen, Juanita Baker, Josephine Gallo, Elsie Visel and Valerie George, makes its annual awards based on academic standing as well as extracurricular activities, career goals and a commitment to democratic ideals. The committee was impressed with the high caliber of these young women and applauds all their accomplishments, wishing them much success as they pursue their career goals and work for democratic ideals.
