David S. Tichenor, 75, of Sebastian, died July 8, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center.He was born May 24, 1935 in East Orange, N.J. and was a resident of Sebastian for 14 years, coming from Ramsey, N.J. He was an international sales manager for Widmer Time Recorder Co. in New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from the University of Maine in 1959.Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Cynthia C. Tichenor of Sebastian; son David Tichenor of New Jersey; daughters Laura Nieter of Deerfield Beach, Amy Blount of Sandy, Utah; sisters Leslie Mason of Matthews, N.C., Christina Cahalan of Summerville, S.C.; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association: 1101 Northchase Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30067.A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on July 19, 2010 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church.Arrangements by Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian, Florida.
