Helen R. Gibbons, 93, died June 28, 2010, at Indian River Estates.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in the Sebastian-Vero Beach area for 30 years, coming from New Hyde Park, N.Y. S
he was a volunteer for the Long Island Hearing and Speech Society and later became the office manager, when it became affiliated with Long Island Jewish Hospital.
Survivors include her son, Robert Germann; daughter, Lorraine Svensson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Germann; and her second husband, Jack Gibbons.
A memorial service will be July 19 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Farmingdale, N.Y.
