Downtown Friday Bike Nite June 25

VERO BEACH — Downtown Friday’s Bike Nite will be held Friday, June 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on 14th Avenue, between 20th and 21st Streets, in historic downtown Vero Beach.  The popular street party features live music, children’s activities and fun for the entire family.

The revving up of bikes and great music will be heard throughout downtown as bikers ride their favorite “hogs” downtown.

Main Street Vero Beach, the event’s presenting sponsor, has invited back the fun-filled John Quinlivan Band from Brevard County. The 4-man energetic John Quinlivan Band (JQB) is a Blues based rock and roll group that is musically exceptional, entertaining and fun to watch. “Bodacious” the Mechanical Bull will be on hand for $5 per ride. Bodacious is friendly and will give you the ride of your life! The friendly staff from LaPorte Farms will be sure everyone enjoys their ride and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the charity of the evening, Youth Guidance Mentoring & Activities Program.

“Cornhole,” introduced at the last Downtown Friday, will be back. Dancing exhibitions, courtesy of the Cactus Moon Dancers, will occur during band breaks at 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. The non-profit Cactus Moon Dance Club, Inc., was formed in 1993 to promote the growth of Country Western Line Dancing while providing assistance to service clubs and charitable organizations.

A myriad of booths including crafters and community organizations will line the street, as well as plenty of cold drinks and food booths suitable for any palette. The Pocahontas Park playground will be open for play and the Downtown Friday bounce house, cotton candy and sand art will be available.

Admission is free and parking is available at curbside throughout downtown.  No coolers allowed.
