INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Six units at 2390 Vero South Circle will have to boil their water once water service returns after a water main broke in the area, water officials said Wednesday.
Upon restoration of water service, the Indian River County Utilities Department advises that all water used for the following be boiled (a rolling boil of one minute is sufficient):
Hand washing dishes
Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
This boil water notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. The department is unable to provide an exact time of survey completion, though it should be no more than 72 hours.
A rescission notice will be distributed.
Affected properties include: 2390 Vero South Circle, units 1 through 6.
