Free Pet ID Tags Available May 1st

VERO BEACH —  The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB & IRC) will be offering FREE pet identification tags this Saturday, May 1st from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Walgreen’s, located at 5755 20th St, Vero Beach. There is no limit to the number of tags requested.  Pet tags can be issued without pets being present.

HSVB & IRC offers the ID tags as a public service. Each tag is engraved with a unique ID number issued to that particular animal, the Humane Society’s 24 hour paging service and says “I AM LOST.”  Humane Society employees are on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to calls for lost or found animals. Free pet ID tags are also available seven days a week at The Humane Society, located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach.

The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and helping the animals of Indian River County.
