Fighting Indians Band Boosters Golf Tournament

VERO BEACH —  The Vero Beach High School Fighting Indians Band Boosters will hold their fourth annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 1 at The Club at Pointe West.  The proceeds from this fundraiser will directly benefit the Vero Beach High School Band, “The Pride of the Treasure Coast.”  Registration for the four-person scramble begins at 7:30 a.m. and tee off is at 8:30 a.m.

Cost is $100 per golfer and includes a continental breakfast and deli buffet lunch provided at the club, raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing, contests on all Par 3 holes including a Hole-In-One contest and Longest Drive contest.

The Vero Beach High School Band includes the Vero Beach High School Fighting Indians March Band, two Symphonic Bands, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Flag Corps.  The band has again received all “Superior” awards at all festival and competitive events this year and because of their outstanding performance, were invited to perform at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York in April.
