James F. Fish Jr., 89, died April 5, 2010, at Harbor Chase Assisted Living in Vero Beach.
He was born in Lewistown, Pa., and lived in Indian River County since 1960, coming from his birthplace. He retired from the local Building Department.
He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the First Church of God, Vero Beach, and was a former secretary of the Sunday School and teller of the Finance Committee and served as an usher for many years.
Survivors include his daughters, Edwina VanAntwerp of Sebastian, Debra Keys of Fellsmere, Kelli Keys of Vero Beach; and sister, Roxine Fish of College State, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kenyon Fish; and brothers, Edward Fish and Darwin Scratchard.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of God, 1105 58th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32966.
