Stella Maxine Foote, 75, died March 29, 2010, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Clay County, Ark., and lived in Indian River County since 1999, coming from Hallandale.
Survivors include eight daughters, Rita Lucas of Vero Beach, Evelyn Hare of Tallahassee, Elaine Gowen of North Miami Beach, Arlene Forbing of Tallahassee, Janet Paschette of Melbourne, Angela Keller of Powhatan, Va., Elizabeth Fleischacker of Tallahassee and Cheryl Forbing of Winter Park; four sons, Percy Forbing of Vero Beach, Alvin Forbing of North Miami Beach, John Forbing of Cooper City and Patrick Forbing of Hollywood, Ala.; sisters, Myrtle Carmickle of Maynard, Ark., and Ola Wallace of Hornbeak, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 1 to 3 p.m. April 10 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
