Margaret A. Celli, 58, died March 22, 2010, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

She was born in Glen Cove, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for nine years, coming from Long Beach, N.Y. She was an licensed practical nurse for various nursing facilities in New York.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Vero Beach.

Survivors include her husband, John Celli of Vero Beach, six children; two sisters; and 10 grandchildren. Services: No services are planned.

VERO BEACH — While chilly temperatures caused a drop in beach attendance last month, lifeguards are happy to report that there were no water rescues that occurred in January. ‘No swimming’ advisory lifted for beaches, officials say

VERO BEACH — Authorities lifted a 'no swimming' advisory for three local beaches Tuesday after test samples showed that bacteria returned to normal levels, health department and city officials said. The result means it was safe to return to the water Tuesday, Vero Beach city officials said. The advisory - which was in place for nearly a week - was issued Jan. 31 for South Beach, Humiston Beach and Sexton Plaza Beach after high levels of fecal-related bacteria were reported at the locations. Howle, Zudans win in Vero; Kinchen, McPartlan, Iovino in Sebastian

All results are in for the Vero Beach and Sebastian municipal elections. Voters have returned Harry Howle to the Vero Beach Council and Bob McPartlan and Linda Kinchen to the Sebastian Council.
