Gary W. Stone, 57, died on March 16, 2010, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Sylvania, Ala., and lived most of his life in Indian River County. Before retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator and self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary of Sebastian; sons, Leslie Fletcher of Vero Beach and Steven Stone of Fellsmere; daughter, Tammy Fletcher of Vero Beach; mother, Inez Tumblin of Palm Bay; brother, Bobby Stone of Fort Pierce; and sisters, Glenda Bortel of Vero Beach and Karen Stone of Palm Bay; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. March 27 at the First Baptist Church, Fellsmere, with the Rev. Buddy Johns officiating.
