Alexander Stavrides, 83, died March 7, 2010, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for 10 years, coming from Miami. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.
Survivors include his daughter, Felicia Nassar of Carlsbad, Calif.; son, Louis Stavrides of Atlanta; sisters, Helen Constas and Alice Dogous, both of New York; and one grandchild.

Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery. Lake Worth.
