VERO BEACH — An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of PINOCCHIO Monday, March 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Agnes Wahlstrom Youth Playhouse, 3280 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach. All those auditioning should arrive prior to 4 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. There will be a performance fee of $30 per child for those who are cast.
Among the roles to be cast are Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, the Fox and Cat, Candlewick and Crew, Urchins, School Kids, Puppets and Toys. Students ages kindergarten through 8th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day.
PINOCCHIO will be presented on Saturday, March 27 at the Anne Morton Theatre. The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Vero Beach is brought to you by Riverside Children’s Theatre with support from Kathy and Bob Cigala.
