Shirley A. Sabatino, 82, died Feb. 13, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in Johnstown, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 35 years, coming from Miami. Before retirement, she worked for Southern Insurance Underwriters in Miami and served as deputy clerk of the Court in Vero Beach.
She was a volunteer for VNA/Hospice in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Griffith of Vero Beach and Calvin Griffith of Madisonville, Ky.; daughters, Deborah Sweeting of Lake Placid and Cynthia Decker of Miami; sister, Jean Williams of Tryon, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Sabatino; and son, Mark Ivan Griffith.

A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
