Alisha Marie Fretwell Barker, 33, Vero Beach

Alisha Marie Fretwell Barker, 33, died Feb. 14, 2010, at her home.

She was a lifetime resident of Vero Beach. She was a graduate of Indian River State College in Fort Pierce and was a member of Living Waters Ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Barker of Vero Beach; daughter, Katilyn Miller of Vero Beach; parents, Aaron Curtis and Linda Fretwell of Vero Beach; brothers, Keith Fretwell and Brian Fretwell, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandmother, Alma Baker of Sebastian; and grandparents, Frank and Bernice Bruce of Vero Beach.

Memorial contributions may be made to Living Waters Ministry.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 18 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.

A service will be at 8 p.m. Feb. 18 at the funeral home with the Rev. McDaniel officiating.

Interment will be in Winter Beach Cemetery. A guest book may be signed at strunkfuneralhome.com.

‘Tragic, sudden loss,’ – Memorials emerge for teen killed in ATV crash

With the sudden death of Sebastian River High School student Jake Beecher still fresh, family, friends, teammates and coaches continue to come to terms with the tragic crash that took his life.
