Marc London, 82, comedy writer

Marc London, 82, of Hyannis, Mass. died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 30, 1927 in Boston and moved to Hyannis 15 years ago from Centerville, Mass. He lived in Vero Beach for a short time before his death.

He was an Emmy Award winning comedy writer for such shows as Rowan & Martins Laugh-In and The Muppet Show. He was a member of the Writer’s Guild of America and served in U.S. Naval Intelligence in Washington, D.C.

Survivors include his daughters Katherine Frances of Hyannis, Molly Rose of Hyannis and Rachel Amy of Los Angeles, Calif., one granddaughter and ex-wife Catherine Jones of Marston Mills, Mass.
