Grove Isle Circle residents to have water outage Feb. 10

VERO BEACH — Residents in Building 22 of Grove Isle Circle will be without water for approximately three hours Wednesday, Feb. 10, beginning at 8 a.m. as crews update the current meter.

The work is expected to improve water service to the customers in units 451 through 487, water department officials said. Upon restoration of water service, the Indian River County Utilities Department advises that all water used for the following be boiled (a rolling boil of one minute is sufficient):

Drinking

Cooking

Making ice

Brushing teeth

Hand washing dishes

Bottled water may be used as an alternative.

This boil water notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. The department is unable to provide an exact time of survey completion, though it should be no more than 72 hours.

A rescission notice will be distributed.
