Donald Ray Rader, 83, Vero Beach

Donald Ray Rader, 83, died Jan. 24, 2010, in Vero Beach.

He was born in Ninga, Mo., and lived in Vero Beach for 11 years, coming from Republic, Mo.

He served in the Marines during the Korean War. Before retirement, he owned a dairy in Missouri.

He worked as an usher and ticket collector at Dodgertown.

He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn DeShay; sons, Michael Fecko and Randy Kirkland, both of Vero Beach; daughters, Tammy Hinchman and Shannon Fecko, both of Vero Beach; brothers, Bill Rader and Sam Rader, both of Republic; sisters, Linda Groves of Springfield, Mo., and Georgia Heinmann of Republic; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Rader, and brother, David Rader.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 30 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
