Leonard “Lenny” Charles Albrecht Jr., 63, died Jan. 13, 2010, at the Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Atlantic City, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1981, coming from Hollywood.
He worked for BellSouth Co. as a cable repair technician. He attended college in Colorado on a basketball scholarship after being named all-state in basketball and track at McArthur High School in Hollywood.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Vero Beach and Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Susan Lynn Albrecht of Vero Beach; son, Ryan Charles Albrecht of Vero Beach; daughters, Amy Lynn and Angela Marie Albrecht, both of Colorado; and four grandchildren.
